The MYUS Cable System® is a groundbreaking infrastructure project designed to provide the first direct, high-capacity fiber-optic connection between Malaysia and the United States. Spanning approximately 19,221 kilometers across the Pacific Ocean, the network will seamlessly link Sedili, Malaysia, to Florence, Oregon, with critical strategic landings in Indonesia (Batam and Jakarta), the Philippines (Davao), and the U.S. territory of Guam.
Designed as an advanced 16-fiber-pair open cable system—boasting a minimum capacity of 15 Tbps per pair and a total initial capacity of 240 Tbps—the MYUS Cable System® is engineered to meet the skyrocketing demand for resilient, high-speed telecommunications infrastructure across Southeast Asia and beyond. The system is targeted to be ready for service (RFS) by mid-2028.
